This year at True Hearts has been full of special moments and changes. We welcomed three new babies, said goodbye to one child who went back to his family, and came together as a community to celebrate and plan for the future. Our team and children have been busy with activities that bring us closer and strengthen our faith. We’re also excited to start building a skills training center to teach carpentry, music, Bible lessons, and host worship nights. Here’s a look at what’s happened so far in 2026 and what’s coming next.
New Babies and a Farewell
We welcomed three babies this year: Faith, Emma, and John. They’ve brought so much joy to our home, and our caregivers are making sure they feel loved and cared for.
We also said goodbye to Timothy, a special boy who went back to live with his family. While we miss him, we’re happy he’s reunited with them. We sent him off with love and prayers.
A Joyful Staff Meeting
One of the best moments this year was a staff meeting where everyone praised God together. It reminded us of the strength we find in our faith and community.
Plans for a Skills Training Center
We’re excited to build a new skills training center! It will offer:
Carpentry workshops to teach building skills
Music lessons to inspire creativity
Bible classes to grow in faith
Worship nights to bring everyone together
The whole community is looking forward to this project. It will help children and adults learn new skills and prepare for the future.
Fun and Community Activities
This Easter, the children and caregivers had a fun egg hunt filled with laughter. Events like this bring us closer together and create happy memories.
The women’s Bible study group is going strong. They meet to read the Bible, support each other, and visit families in the community to share God’s love. These visits bring hope and encouragement to those who need it.
The men’s discipleship program will start again after Easter, with a focus on teaching practical skills. By the end of the year, this program will help men grow in faith and prepare for important roles in their families and communities.
Visits from Justin and Jenny
In May, Justin will visit Oklahoma, and Jenny will follow a few weeks later. This will be their first time together in the U.S. since the Baby Home opened. They’ll connect with supporters and share updates about True Hearts.
Looking Ahead
The first half of 2026 has been full of new beginnings and heartfelt goodbyes. We’ve welcomed new lives, celebrated reunions, and grown stronger as a community. The new skills training center will open doors for learning and growth, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.
